Toronto authorities are searching for a woman who escaped after a stabbing incident in North York over the weekend.
Emergency responders rushed to Jane Street and Shoreham Drive after receiving reports of a stabbing at a residence shortly past 11:10 a.m.
Upon arrival, law enforcement found a man, whose identity has not been disclosed, with stab wounds.
The injured man was taken to a hospital for urgent medical care and is currently being treated for serious, yet non-life-threatening injuries.
Before the police could reach the scene, a female suspect had already fled.
The case is under active investigation by the authorities.
