Tragic Accident: Woman Struck and Killed by Light Rail Train in Waterloo
In a tragic incident on Saturday in Waterloo, a woman lost her life after being struck by an LRT train.
The emergency response teams rushed to the scene on Dutton Drive around 11:20 p.m. following reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and an ION train.
Despite the efforts of authorities who administered life-saving procedures, the woman could not be saved and was declared deceased at the location.
Law enforcement officials have confirmed that an investigation is underway, and as of now, no charges have been filed in connection with the incident.
