Over the weekend, Waterloo Regional Police launched an investigation into a “targeted shooting” that took place in Kitchener. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday near River Road and Morgan Avenue when multiple gunshots were fired at a local business around 2:30 a.m. Fortunately, the business was closed during the incident, and there were no reported injuries.
Police are treating this as a deliberate attack and are actively pursuing leads as the investigation continues.
