In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a driver was rushed to the hospital following a solo car rollover near the picturesque Humber Bay Park in Toronto.
According to Toronto police, the incident unfolded at approximately 2:53 a.m. when the Toronto Paramedic Services were alerted to a vehicle that had overturned at the intersection of Lake Shore Boulevard West and Park Lawn Road. Emergency Medical Services reported that the driver sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Upon arrival, law enforcement officers and Toronto Fire personnel found the vehicle flipped over, with no other cars involved in the incident.
Temporary road closures were put in place as authorities assessed the scene and cleared the overturned vehicle. Fortunately, the roadway has since been reopened for regular traffic.
The investigation continues to determine the factors that led to the rollover.
