The Coquitlam RCMP is actively looking into a targeted shooting incident that took place over the weekend and is seeking assistance from the community in reviewing dash camera footage captured in the vicinity.
Authorities are specifically requesting video recordings from vehicles that were either passing through or parked in the 100 block of Schoolhouse Street during the time frame of 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on August 29. Even seemingly ordinary footage could potentially hold crucial information relevant to the investigation, according to the Mounties.
While the motive behind the incident is still being investigated, the police have reassured the public that there is no immediate danger.
