The Montreal Alouettes have solidified their winning formula by extending the contracts of general manager Danny Maciocia and head coach Jason Maas for two more years. Maciocia is now committed to the Alouettes until the 2031 season, while Maas’s deal runs through 2030.
Danny Maciocia returned as the Alouettes’ GM in January 2020 and subsequently appointed Jason Maas as head coach in December 2022. This dynamic duo has seen success, with Montreal clinching the 2023 Grey Cup and making it to last year’s final, currently boasting the best record in the CFL at 9-2.
Under Maciocia and Maas’s leadership, the Alouettes have accumulated a strong regular-season record of 42-22-1. Jason Maas is on the cusp of tying Hall of Fame coach Marv Levy for the fourth spot in franchise history with one more win.
