On Monday, Albertans are heading to polling stations to cast their votes on 10 referendum questions, sparking discussions on various important issues, including the potential move towards a separation vote for the province.
The referendum ballot will feature an array of questions ranging from immigration to constitutional matters, with the pivotal separation question marked as Question 10. Results for this significant query will be the first to be tallied and shared, followed by the outcomes for Questions 1 to 9 in sequential order.
However, the anticipation for the final results is prolonged as a polling station in Edmonton faced delays, extending its closing time until 10 p.m., causing a setback in the vote-counting process and the subsequent release of results statewide.
Stay tuned for the latest updates on the unofficial referendum results as they unfold.
