Police Seek Assistance in Solving Cemetery Thefts in Southwestern Ontario
Authorities in southwestern Ontario are seeking the public’s help in solving a series of alleged thefts that have occurred at four cemeteries in Norfolk County over the past week.
The Ontario Provincial Police have reported incidents where suspects targeted items made of brass and bronze, such as nameplates and screws, with one case involving the theft of an urn.
Expressing deep concern, an OPP spokesperson emphasized the seriousness of these thefts.
Residents in the area are urged to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity at local cemeteries.
