Montreal police (SPVM) have launched an investigation into the death of a six-month-old baby that occurred last week in the Ville-Marie borough.
At around 7:20 p.m. on Aug. 22, officers were called to an apartment on Ontario Street East, near Fullum where the infant was found unconscious.
“He was rushed to hospital, unfortunately where his death was confirmed,” Manuel Couture, a SPVM Media relations officer told CityNews. “There’s always an investigation in all cases involving less than six years old child.”
The SPVM are working in cooperation with the coroner’s office to determine the cause of death.
No arrests have been made.
