Two individuals were hospitalized following a structure fire that broke out in Langley on Friday afternoon, as reported by BC Emergency Health Services.
The incident occurred in the vicinity of 66th Avenue and 272nd Street shortly before 12:30 p.m., prompting the immediate response of emergency crews.
According to Brian Twaites, the paramedic public information officer, a swift and comprehensive medical team was dispatched to the scene. This team included three ambulances staffed with primary care paramedics, two advanced care paramedic responder units, two paramedic supervisors, and an air ambulance helicopter.
Paramedics administered vital medical care to the two individuals affected by the fire. One patient was taken to the hospital in stable condition via ground ambulance, while the other was airlifted in serious but stable condition.

Collaboration between the Langley RCMP and the Township of Langley Fire Department is underway to ascertain the cause of the fire.
