Blaze Ravages Keelesdale Home, Family Displaced by Devastating Overnight Inferno

An intense blaze ravaged a residence in Toronto’s Keelesdale area overnight, leaving the home in ruins but fortunately resulting in no injuries.

The Toronto Fire Services swiftly responded to a distress call at the intersection of Keele Street and Ypres Road, close to Eglinton Avenue West, just after midnight on Friday.

Upon arrival, firefighters were met with a fully engulfed house, flames extending to multiple vehicles on the premises and posing a threat to neighboring properties.

As a precaution, residents in nearby homes were evacuated while firefighters successfully contained the fire, preventing further spread, although the residence was left in ruins.

Throughout the early morning hours, fire crews remained vigilant on-site to ensure no potential hotspots reignited.

The cause behind the destructive fire remains under investigation.
