Early Saturday morning in North York, tragedy struck as a young boy lost his life due to a fatal shooting incident.
Toronto police swiftly reacted to reports of gunshots in the vicinity of Martha Eaton Way and Trethewey Drive, close to Black Creek Drive, shortly before 12:30 a.m.
Responding officers discovered the young boy, who had sustained gunshot wounds. Paramedics rushed him to a hospital, but sadly, he succumbed to his injuries.
