“Construction Chaos: Man Nabbed for Wild Joyride in Stolen Bulldozer in Delta”

Delta police apprehend a man for stealing a construction vehicle in Tsawwassen.
Delta law enforcement detained an individual accused of taking a construction vehicle in Tsawwassen during the weekend. The incident unfolded when the Delta Police Department received reports of someone driving a wheeled aerial lift machine, known as a boom lift, in a concerning manner from a construction site onto the streets of Tsawwassen just before midnight on Sunday.
According to the police, the vehicle created property damage and collided with street signs as it carelessly navigated through the neighborhood. Allegedly, the driver even approached a local resident to ask for directions to the nearest liquor store before leaving the vehicle behind and fleeing into a nearby cornfield.
Law enforcement officers successfully tracked down the suspect in close proximity to the scene. The individual was taken into custody on charges of breaking and entering, theft exceeding $5,000, and mischief.
The arrested man has since been released and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
Additionally, the Delta Police Department managed to safely return the stolen boom lift to the construction site.
