Authorities responded to the intersection of Ossington Avenue and Essex Street at approximately 7:06 p.m. after receiving reports of a pedestrian accident involving a vehicle.
Medical responders indicated that the elderly woman was taken to the hospital with significant yet non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the site, as confirmed by the police.
