The owner of a medical aesthetics business, previously convicted of sexual assault, has been released from custody pending an appeal. Farshad Khojsteh Kashani, found guilty of multiple counts of assault, allegedly misused a vaginal rejuvenation machine and used explicit language during procedures. Victims reported physical pain and psychological coercion during the assaults. A judge noted concerns about Kashani’s potential for reoffending due to minimization of the offenses. Despite being ordered to pay fines and register as a sex offender, Kashani was granted bail under strict conditions, pending his appeal.
