Toronto authorities are actively seeking a 38-year-old caregiver accused of assaulting multiple vulnerable adults at an east-end group home over the course of November. The incidents were reported to have taken place between November 1 and 30, prompting the launch of an investigation by Toronto Police Service.
The alleged assaults occurred at a group home near Sibley Avenue and Dentonia Park Avenue, in close proximity to Victoria Park subway station. The caregiver, identified as Oghenemaro Dave Ejerua, was working at the facility when the assaults took place, according to police.
Reportedly, the suspect carried out a series of assaults on the home’s residents, leading to a search for Ejerua on seven counts of assault. A description provided by authorities portrays him as approximately five-foot-eight, with a medium build, black curly hair, and facial hair.
Despite the ongoing investigation, specific details about the assaults and the home have not been disclosed by the police service. Authorities from the 55 Division are urging anyone with information regarding Ejerua or the incidents to come forward and assist in the investigation.
