Toronto police have arrested a man in connection with a series of disturbing incidents in the city’s west end. The man, identified as Davian Guy-Lynch, faces multiple charges related to sexual assault and forcible confinement.
The incidents occurred in the Kipling Avenue and Dundas Street West area, where the man allegedly approached a female victim, sexually assaulted her, and fled with her cellphone. Subsequent reports indicate that the suspect followed another female victim to a nearby condo, where he forced his way in, assaulted her, and then sexually assaulted a third victim who was present in the unit.
Davian Guy-Lynch has been charged with a range of offenses, including failure to comply with a probation order, sexual assault, assault, forcible confinement, indecent act, mischief, robbery, criminal harassment, and break-and-enter. The suspect is scheduled to appear in bail court the following morning, pending further legal proceedings.
In light of the ongoing investigation, Toronto Police have released a photo of the suspect, expressing concerns that there may be additional victims yet to come forward.
