Stall causing major delays on Port Mann Bridge

Westbound traffic on the Port Mann Bridge is crawling after a garbage truck stalled in the right through lanes midspan Tuesday morning.

Callers to 1130 NewsRadio first reported the incident around 5:15 a.m.

DriveBC announced that the Coquitlam exit lanes had reopened around 5:30 a.m., but the stall is still causing significant delays.

Traffic destined for Coquitlam is backed up all the way to 176 Street in Surrey.

Westbound drivers can take the stal̕əw̓asəm Bridge to avoid congestion.
