The Montreal Canadiens haven’t won the Stanley Cup yet, but they’ve already earned a place at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
The team captured a now-viral photo of its dressing room celebration, posting it with the caption: “Hang it in the [Montreal] Museum of Fine Arts.” The museum took that suggestion quite literally.

On Friday, a 36-by-24-inch framed version of the photo was installed near the museum’s entrance, where it will remain on display throughout the Canadiens’ 2026 playoff run.
This isn’t the first time the museum has commemorated the team. During the Canadiens’ memorable 2021 run to the finals, the museum installed a reproduction of “Dryden” in front of the Jean-Noël Desmarais Pavilion, paying tribute to legendary goaltender Ken Dryden.
Fans can appreciate the artwork in person at the museum’s Sherbrooke Street West location.
