Toronto police say they’ve located a person with a gunshot wound inside CF Fairview Mall in North York on Tuesday morning.
Officers were called to the mall at 1800 Sheppard Avenue East at around 10:05 a.m. and found the victim inside.
Paramedics tell CityNews the victim, whose age and gender have been revealed, has potentially life-threatening injuries. It’s not clear if the person was shot inside the mall.
A second person was assessed on scene for non-gunshot related injuries, but declined to be taken to hospital.
A male suspect was seen fleeing the area in a white, but no further description is available at this point.
