The Maple Ridge RCMP confirmed crews are responding to a serious crash that has Lougheed Highway closed in both directions between 240 and 280 streets.
Callers to 1130 NewsRadio first reported the incident involving multiple vehicles near 272 Street, or River Road, around 6 a.m.
Drivers can take Dewdney Trunk Road as an alternate route.
