One person was seriously injured in a crash in Langley Wednesday morning, the RCMP says.
Officers were called to the crash, located at 264 Street and 24 Avenue, just after 8 a.m.
Pictures taken at the scene show a semi-truck and trailer in the ditch.
First responders from the Township of Langley Fire Department, British Columbia Ambulance Service, and Langley RCMP all attended the scene.
“One individual was transported to a local area hospital in critical and life‑threatening condition,” said Sgt Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP. “The Lower Mainland Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) has been deployed to assist with the investigation.”
Roads were closed in the immediate area while ICARS investigated the collision.
The Langley RCMP asks anyone who was in the area during the time and may have dashcam footage to call them at 604‑532‑3200 and quote file number 2026‑12192.
