Police warning of violent offender to be released in Surrey

Police in Surrey are warning the public about the release of a high-risk offender.

The Surrey Police Service says 42-year-old Nathanial Odorjan will be living in the city under strict conditions.

Staff Sgt. Lindsay Houghton says Odorjan is a “designated high-risk” offender with a history of violence towards people, including offences against women and girls.

The SPS says he will be subject to electronic monitoring, and must not access social media, consume drugs or alcohol, possess a weapon, or contact or be alone with anyone under 18 — among other restrictions.

The SPS has shared an up-to-date image of Odorjan ahead of his release.

He is described as a 6’1″, 150-pound man, with short, balding brown hair and brown eyes.

If you observe Odorjan breaching the conditions of his release, you’re asked to contact your local police.
