$59M Lotto Max up for grabs in Quebec this Wednesday

Lotto Max players will have their eyes on a substantial prize pool this Wednesday, as the next draw features a total of $59 million, including a $55-million jackpot and an estimated four Maxmillions worth $1 million each.

The popular lottery game continues to produce major wins across Quebec. Since its introduction in 2009, Lotto Max players in the province have collected over $4.17 billion in prizes, cementing the game’s status as one of Quebec’s most lucrative.

Over the years, Quebec has celebrated 50 Lotto Max jackpot wins, including three record-tying $70-million jackpots won on Feb. 25 and Oct. 9, 2020, and June 7, 2022. The province has also seen jackpots of $65 million, four worth $60 million, five of $55 million, and ten of $50 million, underscoring players’ consistent success.

Beyond the main jackpots, Quebec players have enjoyed notable luck with Maxmillions, securing 255 Maxmillions prizes valued at $1 million each, as well as 153 shared Maxmillions wins.

Loto-Québec says it has also been selling a new version of Lotto Max since April 11 which has $90-million jackpot and several $100,000 prizes. The company says the version has an improved odds of 1 in 5.8 compared to 1 in 7 previously.
