Second shooting reported on same Ahuntsic street within three days

Montreal police are investigating a second shooting on the same street in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough within three days.

After a residence was struck by gunfire on Bois-de-Boulogne Ave. on Tuesday, another shooting was reported on the same street early Friday morning.

Police say they were called around 2:20 a.m. after reports of gunshots on Bois-de-Boulogne Ave. near Salaberry Street.

Officers located bullet impacts on a residence and a vehicle parked in a private driveway, as well as shell casings on the ground.

No victims or suspects were found at the scene. The occupants of the residence were asleep at the time, and no injuries were reported.

According to initial information, the suspect or suspects opened fire from a moving vehicle before fleeing in an unknown direction.

Investigators, along with forensic identification technicians, were dispatched to analyze the scene and gather evidence.

Earlier this week, another residence on Bois-de-Boulogne Ave., near Henri-Bourassa Boulevard West, was also targeted by gunfire.
