Motorists in Montreal will face major traffic disruptions this weekend as Highway 15 (Decarie) will be closed southbound from May 8 to 11, the Quebec Transport Ministry says.
The closure will affect the section between the Decarie interchange and the entrance from Jean-Talon Street to Highway 15 southbound. The work is required to replace a section of a beam on the de la Savane overpass and to carry out beam repairs on the Des Jockeys and Ferrier overpasses.

At the Decarie interchange, several connecting ramps will also be closed:
Additional closures include:
Evening and nighttime closures will also affect Des Jockeys and Ferrier streets between Decarie Boulevard north and south during the following periods:
Detour routes will be marked with temporary signage, and congestion is expected in the area.
The ministry advises motorists travelling in the sector to allow extra time to reach their destination.
The work may be postponed, extended or cancelled due to weather conditions or operational constraints. Drivers are encouraged to check Québec 511 before heading out and to download the mobile application for updates and notifications.
