A man has been charged in relation to a shooting at a Surrey home in November last year.
The Surrey Police Service (SPS) responded to reports of shots fired outside a home near Scott Road shortly after 9 p.m. on Nov. 23, 2025.
In a statement the next morning, police confirmed one person, a woman, had been injured.
“An adult female who had been struck by a bullet that came from the outside into the inside of the house. She was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. She remains in hospital and is expected to fully recover, thankfully,” Sgt. Lindsey Houghton said.
In an update Friday, the SPS says its Major Crime Section took over the investigation and later identified a suspect and a suspect vehicle.
“Search warrants were obtained, and the subsequent vehicle search located a firearm. It was determined that this firearm was involved in the Nov. 23, 2025, shooting.”

Police did not provide an update on the victim’s condition but added that she had been shot in the thigh.
