The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) says 25-year-old Xavier Réhel, of Boucherville, Que., is facing charges in connection with a series of sexual assaults, including against minors.
The SQ says the alleged incidents happened between October 2025 and May of this year in the Montérégie and Centre-du-Québec regions.
Police believe there may be additional victims, noting that several victims have since been identified.
It is alleged Réhel communicated with the victims via Snapchat and Messenger, using the pseudonym “XAV” under various accounts: xrhl12, xrehel25, xavrhl, and x_rehel.
Police say Réhel drives a black Tesla Model 3.
He is facing charges including sexual assault and breaking and entering. He appeared at the courthouse in Saint-Hyacinthe.
