Quebec motorists struggling with soaring gas prices can take advantage of lower rates on Thursday afternoon, as Couche-Tard stations offer a 10-cent-per-liter discount. The promotion will run between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. at participating stations across Canada while supplies last.
Couche-Tard notes that “the price displayed at the pump will reflect the discount during this period.”

Gas prices have been hovering around the $2-per-liter mark in many parts of Quebec for several weeks now, due to the conflict in the Middle East, which has caused oil prices to skyrocket.
The price at the pump was 202.9 cents per liter on Wednesday morning at many gas stations across Montreal, including the Couche-Tard ones.
Couche-Tard’s “Fuel Day” returns every year, but this time, the promotion will last an hour longer than usual.
