West Shore RCMP seize drugs, cash, and replica guns

Mounties in West Shore’s Drugs and Organized Crime Unit (DOCU) made a seizure of drugs, cash, and replica guns.

Two search warrants were executed in Langford on May 15 after an investigation started in February.

The DOCU was made aware of a drug trafficking operation taking place out of two homes.

Police seized over $10,000 in cash, several ounces of suspected cocaine and fentanyl, thousands of unidentified pills (suspected to be narcotics), drug packaging and processing materials, three replica handguns, and assorted edged weapons including a machete, throwing knives, a hatchet, and a variety of other knives.

A 43-year old male was arrested in relation to drug trafficking.

The investigation is on going and no charges have been laid at this time.

“Our unit will continue to target those involved in the drug trade. The seizure of drugs, cash and replica firearms from the two residences is another example of our ongoing efforts to disrupt the drug trade in the West Shore,” said Cpl. Kevin Pollock, West Shore RCMP Drugs and Organized Crime Unit.
