Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Montreal on Sunday.
Rain, lightning, severe wind gusts and hails are expected to last into Monday. Power outages are possible.
ECCC warns that lightning can kill or cause injuries and advises people to be indoors when there are thunders.
Monday will see a mix of sun and clouds with a chance of showers. Temperature will be a high of 21 Celsius and a low of 10.
The weather will clear up by Monday night.
Plenty of sunshine for Tuesday with a high of 24 C and a low of 12 C.
Then temperatures climb steadily midweek — up to 27 C on Wednesday and 28 C by Thursday under sunny skies.
But the dry stretch doesn’t last as clouds roll in Friday with a 60 percent chance of showers and a high of 25 C.
