Police confirmed on Tuesday that they located the two paddleboarders, last seen on Browning Lake in Murrin Provincial Park, deceased.
The Sea-to-Sky RCMP was called to the scene on Saturday to reports of two paddleboarders who fell off their board and failed to resurface.
The incident occurred shortly before 3 p.m.
A coordinated search effort was immediately initiated.
“Multiple agencies responded to assist, including Squamish Search and Rescue, B.C. Conservation Officer Service, Squamish Fire Rescue, BC Emergency Health Services, and RCMP Air One,” said Sgt. Vanessa Munn.

The bodies were found on Tuesday when the search efforts continued, which included the use of the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team.
“During this operation, both individuals were located and subsequently recovered,” Munn explained.
Mounties did not provide any update on a paddleboarder who went missing in Lakeside Park earlier last week.
