Computer outage resolved across Laval, Lanaudière and Laurentides health networks

A computer outage that disrupted services across the Laval, Lanaudière and Laurentides health networks has been resolved, restoring normal operations at all affected facilities.

The outage, which began Monday, was caused by a cut fiber-optic cable and temporarily affected appointments, phone services and some clinical operations. Health authorities confirmed that all systems are now functioning normally.

During the disruption, several appointments for blood tests, sample collection, vaccination and screening services were postponed. Emergency departments remained open, although residents were advised to seek care elsewhere unless immediate intervention was required.

The Laurentides network restored its services overnight, while Laval and Lanaudière completed recovery efforts shortly afterward.
