Montreal police arrest 4 suspects in 2022 Dorval murder

Montreal police say four suspects will be charged with first-degree murder in connection with the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old man in Dorval more than three years ago.

A man was found dead with a gunshot wound to the upper body near Mimosa and Carson avenues on the night of Nov. 29, 2022. His death was the 35th homicide of the year in Montreal.

Four men in their 20s – Adam Leheouir, 22; Mac Ahern, 23; Dariush Kabirinaeini, 23; and Starson Descollines Dasilma, 26 – were arrested. They were scheduled to appear in court via videoconference on Tuesday afternoon.

Leheouir, Ahern and Kabirinaeini were already behind bars for unrelated crimes, police say. Dasilma was arrested in a residential area of Saint-Jérôme.

The SPVM did not reveal when the arrests took place.

Police allege three of the suspects – Leheouir, Ahern and Dasilma – are responsible for an alleged attempted murder in Laval on Dec. 31, 2022. An 18-year-old man was shot multiple times in Fabreville and survived.

None of the allegations against any of the suspects have been tested in court.
