The BC RCMP says the Kamloops Law Courts building was evacuated Monday morning due to a “threat.”
Police are asking the public to avoid the area, located along Columbia Street near 4th Avenue.
“On Monday July 6, 2026, just before 9:30 a.m. police were alerted to a threat to the Kamloops Law Courts,” Mounties said in a press release.
“The courthouse is being evacuated, and police are investigating the source and credibility of the threat.”
