Cambie Street reopened after police incident

A police presence on Cambie Street at the intersection of Marine Drive in Vancouver blocked northbound traffic on Cambie Street on Monday afternoon but has since reopened.

Marine Drive was down to one lane in each direction.

The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) has not confirmed the reason for the closure.

Photos from the scene show at least two BC Emergency Health Services (BC EHS) ambulances.

The images also show a northbound travelling TransLink bus at the intersection surrounded by a police vehicle.

1130 NewsRadio has reached out to the VPD and BC EHS.
