Authorities in Burnaby are currently looking into three separate incidents involving indecent behavior at Central Park over the past week.
According to the Burnaby RCMP, each of the three incidents occurred with a male engaged in inappropriate acts at different locations within Central Park on July 5th, 6th, and 9th. The acts happened during various times of the day.
The reported incidents ranged from the individual exposing himself to engaging in public indecent behavior, as stated by the RCMP.
Law enforcement officials are actively investigating these occurrences to determine if they are linked and to identify any potential suspects.
As the investigation progresses, the RCMP has announced that they will be increasing patrols in the area to enhance security measures.
Burnaby RCMP Media Relations Officer, Michael Kalanj, expressed deep concern over these incidents, emphasizing the importance of public awareness and safety. He urged the community to stay vigilant, be mindful of their surroundings, and promptly report any similar incidents or suspicious behavior to the police.
