Authorities in Toronto are currently conducting an investigation following an incident where a man arrived at a hospital in Scarborough early on Tuesday with gunshot wounds.
The Toronto Police Department was alerted to reports of gunfire in the vicinity of Tapscott Road and Blackwell Avenue, close to Neilson Road and Sheppard Avenue East. Upon reaching the scene, law enforcement officers discovered evidence indicating that a firearm had been discharged in the area.
Just before 2:30 a.m., the wounded individual presented himself at a hospital, as confirmed by investigators.
Fortunately, the man’s injuries are reported to be non-life-threatening, according to the police.
At present, there is no information available regarding potential suspects.
