Montreal is set to once again host the comedy world as Just For Laughs makes its return from July 15 to 26. The festival will bring together a diverse array of established comedians, up-and-coming talents, and unique showcases that showcase the evolving landscape of comedy.
Two standout shows at this year’s Just For Laughs are The Culture Show and The Nasty Show, each offering a distinct take on humor. The Culture Show delves into culture, identity, and shared experiences through comedy, while The Nasty Show pushes boundaries with its provocative and controversial material.
Hosted by Dave Merheje, The Culture Show features comedians like Alfred Robles, Jackie Fabulous, Keith Pedro, and Tara Cannistraci. Robles, a debutant at the festival, expresses his excitement at being part of the JFL family.
On the other hand, The Nasty Show, hosted by Comedian CP, showcases comedians like Ian Fidance, Maddy Smith, Marito Lopez, and Rebecca Reeds, who bring edgy and boundary-pushing comedy to the stage. Reeds, making her debut at the show, sees it as a platform to laugh at life’s taboos.
Both shows, with their unique styles, have become staples of the festival over the years, providing a platform for both established and emerging comedians to shine.
In addition to these showcases, Just For Laughs 2026 will feature big names like Jerry Seinfeld, “Weird Al” Yankovic, and David Letterman, offering a diverse lineup that caters to a wide range of comedic tastes.
The festival will also include OFF JFL, a platform for emerging comedians and performers, highlighting fresh talents and new voices in comedy. With a focus on diversity and inclusivity, Just For Laughs aims to offer something for everyone in its lineup.
