Authorities in Toronto are currently looking into a recent incident involving a firearm discharge at a restaurant in Etobicoke early in the morning. The police responded to a call at around 7:55 a.m. on Thursday in the vicinity of La Rose Avenue and Royal York Road near Eglinton Avenue West, originally reported as a suspicious occurrence.
Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement discovered damage to the restaurant’s front and confirmed evidence of gunshots. Fortunately, no injuries were sustained during the incident.
As of now, investigators do not have any leads on potential suspects, and the case is still under investigation. The police are urging anyone who may have information or security footage related to the shooting to come forward to help unravel the circumstances surrounding the event.
