The downtown venue will be transformed into a lively fan zone, making it the perfect spot to catch all the action surrounded by fellow soccer enthusiasts.
Anticipating a large turnout, the event is set to draw in thousands of soccer fans, locals, and tourists alike to witness the thrilling championship match starting at 3 p.m. Multiple giant screens will be strategically placed around the area for optimal viewing, while various amenities such as bars, food vendors, roaming sellers, water stations, and extra restrooms will be conveniently accessible.
Kicking off at 1 p.m., the festivities will commence with a DJ spinning tunes and entertaining acts from Just For Laughs, with the site and concessions opening at noon. After the final whistle blows, the public screening will wrap up approximately 20 minutes later, allowing the festival’s usual programming to resume later in the evening.
Designed to unite the community through the excitement of one of the world’s premier sporting events, the affair will see players from CF Montréal and Montréal Roses, in addition to Just For Laughs performers, coming together for a blend of sports, humor, and culture in the Quartier des spectacles.

The World Cup celebration coincides with the launch of Just For Laughs’ new open-air comedy cabaret series at Place des Festivals. Featuring nightly performances until July 25, the lineup includes renowned acts like Kev Adams, Adib Alkhalidey, Daniel Grenier, Émily Bégin, Fills Monkey, the JFL Comedy All-Stars hosted by Sarah Sherman, and the legendary “Weird Al” Yankovic. Each evening will kick off with DJ sets at 7 p.m., followed by the main performances at 9 p.m.
