Exciting news for soccer fans and festival enthusiasts! Just For Laughs is turning Place des Festivals into a vibrant fan zone this Sunday for a free public viewing of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final. The downtown venue will be buzzing with energy as thousands of Montrealers and visitors gather to witness the championship match on multiple giant screens.

The festivities kick off at 1 p.m. with a lively atmosphere featuring a DJ and entertainment from the Just For Laughs team. Bars, food stalls, roaming vendors, water stations, and extra washrooms will be available to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all attendees. The match begins at 3 p.m., and the public screening will wrap up approximately 20 minutes after the final whistle, allowing the festival’s regular programming to resume later in the evening.

The event aims to unite the community in celebration of one of the world’s most significant sporting events. Expect appearances from players of CF Montréal and Montréal Roses, as well as Just For Laughs performers, creating a unique blend of sports, comedy, and culture in the Quartier des spectacles.
