A tragic plane crash in Victoriaville, Quebec claimed the life of a pilot on Monday evening. The small aircraft went down on Route de l’Aéroport, igniting in flames upon impact. Emergency responders arrived at the scene around 6:30 p.m., only to find the pilot still inside the aircraft. Despite their efforts, the pilot was pronounced dead at the crash site.
Authorities, led by spokesperson Louis-Philippe Ruel from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), are investigating the incident. The SQ, in partnership with the Transportation Safety Board (TSB), aims to uncover the cause of the crash and shed light on the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
The TSB has promptly dispatched a team of investigators to the crash site to gather information and assess the situation. Details about the pilot and the flight plan have not been disclosed at this time.
