Police have charged six individuals in connection with a recent investigation into cocaine trafficking across York Region and the Greater Toronto Area.
The probe, initiated by York Regional Police in 2025, stemmed from suspicions of illicit activities involving controlled substances and firearms in the region. Following months of thorough investigations, authorities executed search warrants on July 16, 2026, at residences in Aurora, Vaughan, and Toronto, where more suspects were identified.
As a result of the operation, law enforcement officers confiscated 28 ounces of cocaine worth an estimated $24,000 on the streets, along with four firearms, a replica firearm, a vehicle, a motorcycle, and $66,000 in cash.
The six accused individuals hailing from Toronto, Aurora, and Vaughan are collectively facing a total of 40 charges related to drug trafficking and firearms offenses.
York Regional Police emphasize that the investigation is still ongoing, urging anyone with additional information to come forward either directly to the authorities or through Crime Stoppers.
