Ctrl+Alt festival returns to Montreal

Montreal’s Place du Village will be transformed into an open-air nightclub this weekend as the Ctrl+Alt Festival returns to celebrate the city’s queer nightlife and performing arts community.

Held at 1114 Sainte-Catherine St. East, the festival is dedicated entirely to queer artists from Montreal’s nightlife scene, showcasing performances in drag, burlesque, dance and electronic music.

Organizers say the event aims to spotlight performers who have often been underrepresented in the arts and entertainment industry, while creating a space that celebrates self-expression, creativity and inclusion.

The free festival invites the public to experience a vibrant lineup of performances as Place du Village is transformed into a lively outdoor celebration of queer art, culture and nightlife.
