A third suspect was arrested in connection with a home invasion and shooting that occurred in Montreal’s Sud-Ouest borough last winter.
The 16-year-old suspect who was the subject of a Canada-wide arrest warrant was arrested by Montreal police (SPVM), in collaboration with the Saskatoon Police Service, in Saskatoon on July 16.

The suspect was brought back to Montreal on Wednesday after appearing remotely before the Youth Division of the Court of Quebec and remains in custody. He faces charges including breaking and entering, pointing a firearm and recklessly discharging a firearm.
The SPVM has arrested two other suspects as part of this investigation, 20 year-old Christopher Ethan Prince and a 17-year-old minor.
A fourth suspect is still at large.
The alleged home invasion occurred on Jan. 28, 2026, with an individual claiming to be delivering a package arriving at the residence at around 7:30 p.m. followed by three accomplices, two of whom were reportedly armed with guns.
One suspect supposedly fired a weapon during the incident. Another suspect was then reportedly shot in the abdomen, while the home’s resident sustained a minor injury to the arm.
Afterwards, the four suspects allegedly fled the scene, leaving behind several pieces of evidence.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
