Authorities have charged a 44-year-old man from Bradford with voyeurism in connection with incidents in Markham. The York Region police launched an investigation after being alerted in late February that a hidden camera was found inside a women’s restroom, with one of the restrooms matching the layout of the suspect’s workplace.
Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the man was in possession of videos depicting individuals engaging in consensual intimate acts. It remains uncertain whether the victims were aware of being recorded, and the time stamps on the videos indicate that they span several years.
Robin Cleland faces five counts of voyeurism in relation to this case. In an effort to identify potential additional victims, authorities have released his photograph and are urging anyone who may have pertinent information to step forward.
