A valuable diamond ring lost by a woman in Richmond has been successfully found and returned by the Richmond RCMP. The incident took place in a parking lot at a shopping complex on No. 3 Road.
The woman, who had reported the loss of her precious 1.31-carat diamond ring worth around $17,000, received a fortunate break when police officers sprang into action. Responding to the call in the late hours of July 19, officers combed through the area with dedication.
Thanks to the illuminating light from a passing police cruiser, the sparkling ring caught the eye of an attentive officer lying on the ground. The ring was swiftly retrieved and brought to the Richmond RCMP detachment for safekeeping.
