Alexander showcased his skills by throwing four touchdown passes, with Tyson Philpot securing three of them, in front of a spirited crowd of 22,535 at Molson Stadium.
Alexander’s stellar performance included 352 passing yards and a rushing touchdown, maintaining his impressive 19-1 record as a starting quarterback. Philpot, the league’s top receiver, added 131 yards to his season total, contributing to Montreal’s continued success with a six-game winning streak.
The Alouettes’ offense, characterized by high-octane play, saw Tyler Snead making an impact with a touchdown catch and 146 receiving yards. The team’s defense also shone, with Gemon Green and Tyrice Beverette forcing key turnovers, while Kylan Guidry and DeVonte Dedmon made significant plays on special teams.
Despite a strong effort from Edmonton, including standout performances from Tyrell Ford and quarterback Cody Fajardo, the Elks were unable to overcome Montreal’s dominant display.
