A pedestrian tragically lost their life after being struck by a transport truck on Highway 404 in Toronto early on Saturday morning, according to officials.
The collision occurred in the southbound lanes of Highway 404 close to Finch Avenue East at approximately 6 a.m., prompting the immediate response of emergency crews.
York Region Paramedic Services quickly arrived at the scene to attend to the collision. Sadly, a spokesperson confirmed to CityNews that the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries at the location.
